We don’t accept articles unrelated to animals (e.g. finance, software, exam prep, home cleaning, general education), even with an animal angle added.
Guidelines
- Original and unpublished: not posted anywhere else, and not AI-generated or spun.
- 1,200+ words that fully answer the reader’s question.
- Clear structure: use real H2/H3 subheadings, short paragraphs and lists where helpful.
- Cite at least 2 credible sources (vet associations, universities, scientific or conservation bodies).
- For animal profiles, include a Quick Facts list: lifespan, diet, habitat, size and conservation status.
- Supply images you own or that are licensed for reuse, with credits.
- Include a 2–3 sentence author bio and a headshot.
Link policy
Each article may include one relevant contextual link to your website or a resource that genuinely helps the reader. Commercial or sponsored articles are labelled as sponsored and their links are marked accordingly. We edit or remove links that aren’t useful to readers.
