Maltese

Yorkshire Terrier

This breed is small but the dogs have plenty of personality. They tend to be inquisitive and confident. Yorkies, as they’re also known, can live up to sixteen years. As they grow older they can develop knee and hip problems. 

Lhasa Apso

This independent breed of dog has a reputation for being very bold despite its small size. The Lhasa Apso is thought to be an ancient dog type.

They can be quite shy with strangers and a little stubborn. These dogs are loyal companions and can live to between twelve and fourteen years.

Shih Tzu

This is one of the most ancient dog breeds of all. Members of Chinese royalty kept them as pets for centuries. The dogs make great companions and house pets.

They’re full of life and very alert. They need short daily walks and are easy to look after. Shih Tzus require regular grooming and have a lifespan of up to sixteen years.
